Our original plan was to chase the sun and make sure we picked working locations that were climbing-based. Our first adventure was to City of Rocks, in time for the Idaho Mountain Festival. We wanted to stay in the area to get some climbing in after the festival. This idea was stymied when it started to snow, in early October.

Note 1: Alison made this video, not Andreas. Andreas makes pretty videos in Final Cut Pro. Alison makes videos on her phone, using the (free) Splice App.
Note 2: The weekend following this snowy day was super sunny and a perfect climbing weekend. The Rangers tell us September to November are some of the best climbing months (traditionally).
