At WeighMyRack we only list belay devices that are CE and/or UIAA certified and made for climbing. This means we do not list devices designed for professional use, as in arboriculture, search and rescue, work at heights, adventure parks, etc. It also means we do not list most of the direct to consumer brands that can be found on Amazon. Many of these Amazon brands do not certify their devices (red flag) and have barely any web presense so there is no way to confirm they are a legitimate company that cares about a climbers safety (another red flag). We list legitimate climbing focused brands from around the world.
You can see all the brands (and manufacturers) who make and sell belay devices below. You can also compare every belay device model and all their features at weighmyrack.com/belay.

Quick Housekeeping Note
On WeighMyRack, when you’re on the belay device page, we have an “unfiltered” area where we show belay devices that have been filtered out of our main display area. These devices are either missing price or weight information. If we included them in the main area, it would totally screw up the search results when you filtered on a product. This is where you’ll find some European brands that we have difficulty finding the full retail price, such as Climbing Technology, LACD, and Tendon.
