There are 22 brands that sell UIAA/CE certified ascenders. There are more ascender manufactures who we don’t list that may have different not-directly-certified-for-climbing-purposes ascenders. Some brands may make ascenders that would pass the UIAA/CE tests but we have no evidence that they would pass, since they’re not officially certified, so we don’t list them either.
