We stopped by the American Alpine Institute to learn more about their Guides Choice Awards and took some video about why certain gear was award-winning. Generally speaking, the awards are given to gear that balances super durable and lightweight, while still holding on to essential features to get the job done right.

I love your website. Its one one of the best looking sites, as well as a piece of magic that finds all of the best deals and the tech specs for every piece of climbing gear imaginable. As a relatively new climber, gearhead and someone that is just starting to learn web development, I would love to hear more about your site, and how to manage living in a mobile environment, and making a digital career work.
